About Chike Okoli Foundation

The Chike Okoli Foundation is a non-profit organization established to further the ideals of Late Chike Edward Okoli, A talented Lawyer and budding entrepreneur who died as a result of an undetected coronary artery disease, five days after his 25th birthday. The Foundation was set up to promote the passion of his life (Entrepreneurship) and to combat the cause of his death (cardiovascular diseases.) The main focus at COF includes ensuring that every young Nigerian will be fully Knowledgeable about the dangers of cardiovascular diseases (CVDs), and the available preventive measures and treatment options as well as adequately equipping every young Nigerian with entrepreneurial skills to enable him/her set up and manage a profitable business of his/her choice. This is our own poverty reduction strategy to complement the efforts being made by Government at different levels. The Foundation has reached out to more than 11 million people across Nigeria and set out to tackle this problem by raising awareness among the Nigerian population, principally the youths. It targets the broad population through various informative channels that include radio, newspapers, brochures, posters and the internet.
