ANNUAL CHIKE OKOLI WEEK

In line with our goal to ensure that every Nigerian is fully aware of the dangers of cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) and the available preventive and treatment options; Chike Okoli Foundation has partnered with the Association of Community Pharmacists (ACPN) Lagos State Chapter, Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), and with the support of Emzor Pharmaceuticals, Coscharis Group, Zinox Group and Kate’s Kitchen to organize sixth (6) editions of the Annual Chike Okoli Week.

COF provides FREE cardiovascular risk factor screening services for all participants during the Chike Okoli Week. These services include;

• Lectures on healthy living (with emphasis on cardiac health)
• Blood pressure (BP) check
• Blood sugar test
• Weight/Height Measurement
• Body Mass Index (BMI)
• Counseling and distribution of various health information materials published by COF.

Past beneficiaries include; Kosofe Local Govt. Area; Surulere Local Govt. Area; Ikotun Local Government Area; Amuwo Odofin Local Govt. Area;  Eti-osa II L.C.D.A, over Seven  hundred (700) participants were reached at Lafiaji Community Center, Obalende.
